Crock Pot Italian Dressing Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast 
  • 16 ounces Italian dressing 
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 16 ounces penne pasta, cooked according to package directions; drain well
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions
 

  • Add the chicken breasts to the crock pot.
  • Pour Italian dressing over the chicken; sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and pepper.
  • Spread the cream cheese over the top.
  • Place the lid on the crock pot; cook on high for 4 hours or low for 5 – 6 hours.
  • When the cooking time is almost done, start cooking the pasta on the stove top as directed on the package; drain well.
  • Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred the chicken with 2 forks; return to crock pot.
  • Add the pasta to the chicken and sauce in the crock pot; stir well.
  • Remove to individual serving plates and sprinkle with the remaining parmesan cheese.
