Bourbon-Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 1 8 – 10-pounds fully cooked bone-in ham
- ¾ cup bourbon, divided
- 2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp. ground mustard
- 1 tbsp. orange marmalade
- 1/8 tsp. coriander
- Whole cloves
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 325°F.
- Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
- Score the surface of the ham, making diamond shapes ½-inch deep.
- Place whole cloves along the lines of the diamond shapes.
- Brush with 2 tbsp. bourbon.
- Bake, uncovered, for 2 hours.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard, marmalade, coriander and remaining bourbon; spoon over ham.
- Bake 30 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 140°F.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
