Garlic Parmesan Wings

Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients

  • 3-pounds party style chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1-¼ tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Dipping sauce, your choice, optional

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 400°F.
  • Line a sheet pan with foil and place a non-stick oven safe rack on top of the pan.
  • Place the chicken wings in a large bowl; add in the baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder; toss to coat the chicken evenly with the baking powder and spices.
  • Position the wings on the rack in a single layer.
  • Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until wings are golden brown and crispy.
  • When finished baking, remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Place the butter and garlic in a small bowl; microwave, in 30 second increments, until the butter is melted.
  • Remove from the microwave and allow the butter cool for 2 to 3 minutes; stir in the parsley and parmesan.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the wings; toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice, if desired.

Notes

Party style chicken wings are pre-cut with the drumette separated from the flat. If unable to find this type of wing, simply cut regular wings in half crosswise for a similar effect.
