Holiday Cherry Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8-ounce container Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 8-ounce container cottage cheese
  • 1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 10-ounce jar maraschino cherries, drained, stems removed, halved; reserve a few for garnish, optional
  • 1 3-ounce package Jell-O cherry, raspberry or cranberry gelatin

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together and chill, overnight, if possible, prior to serving.
  • Garnish with the reserved cherries, if desired, prior to serving.
