Mini-Doughnut Hot Buttered Cheerios
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 cups Honey Nut Cheerios cereal
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
- Using a 10-inch skillet, over low heat, melt butter.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Add cereal; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until cereal is well coated.
- Transfer cereal to large bowl.
- Add sugar and cinnamon to cereal in bowl; toss well to coat.
Notes
Leftovers will keep in a sealed container on the countertop for 3 days; they are safe to eat after that but will start to lose their crunch.
