Mini-Doughnut Hot Buttered Cheerios

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Honey Nut Cheerios cereal
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Using a 10-inch skillet, over low heat, melt butter.
  • Stir in vanilla.
  • Add cereal; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until cereal is well coated.
  • Transfer cereal to large bowl.
  • Add sugar and cinnamon to cereal in bowl; toss well to coat.

Notes

Leftovers will keep in a sealed container on the countertop for 3 days; they are safe to eat after that but will start to lose their crunch.
