Old-Fashioned Salmon Patties
Ingredients
- 1 14.75-ounce canned salmon
- 2 eggs, beaten
- ¼ cup whole milk
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ⅛ tsp. pepper
- ½ cup Ritz cracker crumbs
- 6 tbsp. olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Drain salmon; remove bones and skin.
- Flake salmon with a fork.
- In a medium bowl. mix eggs and milk; add salmon; mix thoroughly.
- Add salt, pepper and cracker crumbs; combine well.
- Using your hands, form into large patties; set aside.
- In a medium skillet, over medium heat, melt olive oil or butter.
- Brown patties on first side; flip and brown on the second side.
- Remove from the skillet, place on a bun; serve.
- Alternatively , serve as an entree with a salad or vegetable of choice.
