Stickin’ Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs or breasts or 10 drumsticks
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. ginger
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat the oven to 200°F.
  • Carefully rinse and throughly dry the chicken.
  • On a dinner plate, or other flat dish, thoroughly combine the flour, garlic salt, paprika and ginger.
  • Coat all of the chicken pieces with the seasonings previously prepared.
  • Arrange chicken (skin side up If using thighs or breasts), in a single layer in baking pan; otherwise, simply place the drumsticks on the baking pan.
  • Place in the pre-heated oven and roast, uncovered, for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the oven; drain; do not turn off the oven.
  • Increase oven heat to 250°F.
  • In a pot, over a low heat, add remaining ingredients; mix to thoroughly combine.
  • Remove from the heat once the sugar has suitably been disolved.
  • Pour over baked chicken.
  • Return to pre-heated oven and bake for another 2 hours or until chicken is done and delicously glazed.
  • Basting and turning at least once will ensure an evenly coated glaze.
