Garlic Parmesan Wings
Ingredients
- 3-pounds party style chicken wings
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1-¼ tsp. kosher salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 tsp. garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
- 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
- Dipping sauce, your choice, optional
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 400°F.
- Line a sheet pan with foil and place a non-stick oven safe rack on top of the pan.
- Place the chicken wings in a large bowl; add in the baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder; toss to coat the chicken evenly with the baking powder and spices.
- Position the wings on the rack in a single layer.
- Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until wings are golden brown and crispy.
- When finished baking, remove from the oven and set aside.
- Place the butter and garlic in a small bowl; microwave, in 30 second increments, until the butter is melted.
- Remove from the microwave and allow the butter cool for 2 to 3 minutes; stir in the parsley and parmesan.
- Pour the butter mixture over the wings; toss to coat.
- Serve immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice, if desired.
Notes
Party style chicken wings are pre-cut with the drumette separated from the flat. If unable to find this type of wing, simply cut regular wings in half crosswise for a similar effect.
