Leftover Turkey Salad Crostini

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups turkey breast, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped and toasted
  • ¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 12 ½-inch baguette slices, cut on the diagonal, grilled or toasted

Instructions
 

  • Using a medium mixing bowl, add the turkey, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, dried cranberries, toasted pecans and chives; stir to combine; set aside.
  • Using a smaller bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
  • Pour this dressing mixture into the bowl with the turkey, bacon and cheese.
  • Use a rubber spatula to mix everything together until well coated.
  • Spread on warm, grilled or toasted bread.

Notes

This salad can be prepared in advance and kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
