Fat-Burning Soup
Ingredients
- 1-pound lean ground beef
- 3 onions, chopped
- 5 carrots, chopped
- 2 16-ounce cans whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
- 1 large head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 15-ounce can cut green beans
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 10 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 tbsp. garlic, minced, or to taste
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 2 quarts tomato juice
- 1 14-ounce can beef broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, along with the onions, brown ground beef until well done.
- Add carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, bell peppers, celery and garlic.
- Add onion soup mix, tomato juice, beef broth, and enough water to cover the vegetables.
- Simmer until the vegetables are tender.
