Amish Country Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1-pound pasta, your choice
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1-½-pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 14.5-ounce can tomato soup
  • 1 14.5-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.  
  • Spray a large baking dish with non-stick cooking oil.
  • Cook the pasta, in a large pot, as per package instructions.
  • Meanwhile, using a medium skillet, over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the onion until soft.
  • Add the ground beef and continue to cook until done. 
  • As soon as the pasta is done, drain and return to the pot.
  • Add the cooked meat, tomato and mushroom soups and milk to the pasta; stir thoroughly and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer to the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
  • Place in the pre-heated oven and bake 25 – 30 minutes.
