Bacon Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 12 turkey bacon strips, diced
  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 1-ounce envelope ranch salad dressing mix

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook turkey bacon 5 minutes or until partially cooked; drain on paper towels.
  • Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness; brush with 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Cut into 1-inch pieces; place in a large bowl.
  • Add the turkey bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil; toss to coat.
  • Arrange pieces in a bundt pan; layering as needed.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled.
  • When ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 350°F.
  • Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven; cover with aluminun foil; return to oven and bake 5 to10 minutes longer or until golden brown.
