Boiled Corn on the Cob
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 ears of corn, husks and silk removed
- 1 stick salted or unsalted butter
- 1 cup whole milk
- Pot of water
Instructions
- Fill pot with water; add a stick of butter and 1 cup of milk.
- Bring to a rapid boil.
- Cut ears of corn in half, if desired.
- Put ears of corn in boiling water; turn heat to low; simmer for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and remove to a serving platter.
