Boiled Corn on the Cob

Ingredients
  

  • 6 to 8 ears of corn, husks and silk removed
  • 1 stick salted or unsalted butter
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • Pot of water

Instructions
 

  • Fill pot with water; add a stick of butter and 1 cup of milk.
  • Bring to a rapid boil.
  • Cut ears of corn in half, if desired.
  • Put ears of corn in boiling water; turn heat to low; simmer for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and remove to a serving platter.
