Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
Ingredients
- 1 taco size package flour tortillas
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- Brush the tortillas with melted butter.
- In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
- Sprinkle over tortillas.
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the tortillas into wedges, like a pizza, and put triangles in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
- Place in pre-heated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until chips are crispy and golden brown.
- Serve with fruit salsa and enjoy.
Notes
Taco size flour tortillas work best. Most packages come in 8 – 10 count. Easily double the recipe if needed. You may need two baking trays.
Store leftover chips in airtight container at room temperature. If they begin to soften, put them back in the oven to toast up for a few minutes.
Chips won’t be fully crisp throughout, by the end, but once cool, they should crisp up fully.
