Crock Pot Shipwreck Casserole
Ingredients
- 4 onions, sliced
- 4 potatoes, sliced
- 1-pound hamburger meat
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 cups celery, sliced
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 2 cans kidney beans, undrained
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 cups boiling water
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Spray a 6-quart crock pot with cooking spray.
- Use cooking spray, in a medium skillet, and saute the onions until they start to become soft, about 6 – 8 minutes.
- Layer onions, potatoes, hamburger meat, rice, celery, carrots and kidney beans.
- In a separate bowl, mix soup, water and salt and pepper, as desired.
- Pour over vegetable and meat mixture.
- Cover and cook, on low, for for 4 – 5 hours.
