Crock Pot Texas Style Pulled Pork
This Crock Pot Texas Style Pulled Pork is sweet, spicy, juicy and cooked low and slow until the meat falls off the bone in tender juicy deliciousness.
Ingredients
- 6-pounds pork shoulder roast
- 1-½ cup barbeque sauce, your choice
- ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¾ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. spicy brown mustard
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. chipotle chili powder
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. dried thyme
- Rolls, of choice
Instructions
- Place the pork in a crock pot.
- In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients together; add to the pork.
- Cook on low for 10 hours, or until the pork falls apart.
- Remove the pork from the crock pot and shred using two forks.
- Mix in a little of the cooking liquid before serving.
- Serve on rolls of choice.
