Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, baking powder and baking powder; set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, oil and pumpkin puree.
Fold the dry ingredients, into the large bowl with pumpkin mixture, until the flour is well incorporated in the batter.
Fold raisins in when the flour is almost incorporated.
Divide the batter evenly between two greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake for 50 – 60 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven, place on a wire rack and allow to completely cool.
