French Toast Dippers
Ingredients
- 8 slices soft white bread
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Maple Syrup, for dunking
Instructions
- Slice crusts off bread and roll flat with a rolling pin.
- In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together 3 eggs, 1/3 cup milk, and nutmeg.
- Slather cinnamon mixture on bread and roll up tightly.
- Dunk roll-ups in egg mixture.
- In a nonstick skillet, over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add roll-ups and cook until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
- Dip in maple syrup.
