Herb Cranberry Stuffing
Ingredients
- 8 cups day old baguette, cut in small cubes
- 4 tbsp. summer savoury
- 1 tsp. ground sage
- ½ tsp. ground thyme
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup butter
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- ½ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup almonds, chopped and toasted
Instructions
- Sauté the onions and garlic in the butter, over low heat, until the onions are tender.
- Toss well with all the remaining ingredients.
- Use as a stuffing for poultry or cook in a covered casserole dish at 250°F for about 30 to 45 minutes.
