Raspberry Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • Kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup raspberry preserves
  • 2 sleeves round butter crackers

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the grated sharp cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, chopped pecans, chopped green onion, salt and pepper.
  • Using a 9-inch x 9-inch baking pan or 9-inch pie pan, spread the above mixture in an even layer,
  • Spread the 2 cups of raspberry preserves over the top of the cheese mixture in an even layer.
  • Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve with round butter crackers.
