Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1-pound ground pork breakfast sausage
  • 2- 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2-pounds frozen tater tots

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
  • Add the sausage to a skillet, over medium heat, and cook, stirring often to break up the sausage, until the sausage is cooked through; drain the grease and spread the sausage in a single layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Spread cheese over meat.
  • In a large bowl, beat together milk and eggs.
  • Pour over cheese.
  • Top with frozen tater tots.
  • Bake in pre-heated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Try substituting ham or bacon in place of the sausage.
