Brown Sugar and Bourbon Glazed Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 to 1-½ pounds salmon
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • ½ cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • ½ cup soy sauce 
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Using a sharp knife, cut the salmon into individual portion sizes before marinating.
  • Pour all marinade ingredients into a large, double sealed zip-lock bag; shake to mix well.
  • Add the salmon to the bag; allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  • When ready to cook, turn the oven on broil; line a large baking dish or rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  • Place salmon on the baking sheet and place on the middle rack of the oven.
  • Broil 10 - 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
