Pre-heat the oven to 350ºF.
Begin by cutting the squash and zucchini in to ½-inch thick slices.
In a bowl, mix together garlic and olive oil.
Toss the squash and zucchini in the mixture.
Line the slices up on a sheet pan; cover with Parmesan cheese.
Place in the pre-heated oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Remove from the oven; season with fresh cracked black pepper; serve immediately.
