Pumpkin Apple Butter

Ingredients
2 apples, peeled and steamed
1/4 cup pumpkin pie filling
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 ½ tsp. lemon juice
Instructions
Core, peel, and dice apples.
In a double boiler, or metal steamer in a saucepan, steam them for 8 - 10 minutes or until soft.
Using a blender, add all of the ingredients and pulse until desired consistency.
Place in a canning jar or airtight container.
Store in the refrigerator.
Use within 10 - 14 days
Notes
If your butter is too thin, add a small amount, ½ - 1 teaspoon, corn starch to thicken.
