Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and no longer pink.
Remove fromt the heat; drain excess fat that accumulates; return to heat.
Stir in the taco seasoning mix and the diced tomatoes with green chiles, including juice.
Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes so the flavors can meld together.
In a large bowl, mix together the grated cheddar cheese and ranch dressing until well combined.
To the bowl, add the seasoned taco meat; stir until the ingredients beome a cheesy mixture.
Place a generous dollop of taco ranch mixture into each frozen phyolo shell; place filled shells on a large baking tray.
Place in the pre-heated oven for 10 to 13 minutes or until the filling is hot and bubbly and the shells are golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for just a minute or two before serving warm or allow to come to room temperature and then serve.
