Candied Mint Leaves Palate Cleanser
Ingredients
- 12 large mint leaves
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Clean the large mint leaves.
- Coat leaves with sugar and gently shake to remove excess sugar.
- Place on a baking sheet and allow to dry, uncovered, for 24 hours or more.
- Once completely dry, store in an air tight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
Can be stored, in a refrigerator, for 3 – 4 weeks.
Use as a garnish on lime or orange sherbet palate cleansers; serve a small portion in cordial glasses or for dessert in martini glasses; in cocktails (especially, mint juleps) and on desserts.
