Garlic Herb Olive Oil Bread Dip
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. dried chervil
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ½ tsp. dried marjoram
- ¼ tsp. dried basil
- ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 medium clove garlic, finely grated, divided
- 1 tsp. fresh rosemary, divided
- 6 tbsp. quality extra virgin olive oil, plus more as needed
- 12 ounces warm crusty bread
Instructions
- In a small bowl, measure and combine chervil, oregano, marjoram, basil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
- Divide garlic, rosemary and herb mixture above among two small, shallow plates.
- Add 3 tablespoon olive oil to each plate (adding more as needed); stir to combine.
- Serve with warm, sliced or hand-torn, crusty bread.
Notes
Put unused dip in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for future use.
