Heavenly Hash Browns
Ingredients
- 2-pounds frozen hash browns
- 1⁄2 cup margarine or 1⁄2 cup butter,melted
- 1 10.25-ounce can cream of chicken soup
- 1-pint sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup onion, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- ¼ to ½ cup corn flakes or potato chips, finely crushed
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- Spray an 11 x 14-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together except the corn flakes or potato chips.
- Place in the prepared pan and evenly spread the crushed corn flakes or potato chips over the top.
- Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until brown on top; alternatively, after the 45 minutes, if the top is not browened, place under the broiler for a minute or two.
