Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
Line muffin pan with muffin liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, applesauce, both sugars, spices, and salt.
Beat in the oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Add the flour and sprinkle in the baking soda and baking powder.
Gently mix until fully incorporated; do not over mix.
Scoop the batter into the muffin pan cups, distributing evenly among all of the cups.
Place in oven and bake for 17 – 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted, in center, comes out clean or mostly clean.
Remove from oven; cool in pan 5 minutes and remove cups to a wire rack for further cooling.
