Turkey Oklahoma Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup celery, trimmed and chopped
- 1 cup yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- Turkey pieces, cooked, cut into small cubes
- 2 10.75-ounce cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 soup cans milk
- 1 15-ounce can sweet peas, drained
- 2 cans Pillsbury biscuits
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté celery and onion until tender.
- Add turkey, soup and milk; heat on medium-high until heated through.
- Add sweet peas to mixture.
- Pour entire mixture in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish,
- Cover with biscuit dough and place in oven.
- Refer to cooking directions, on biscuits package, for approximate baking time; however, leave in the oven until the biscuits are golden brown.
Notes
Great way to use up leftover turkey from Thanksgiving or Christmas.
