Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, using hand beater, beat eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, margarine and corn syrup.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Place in the pre-heated oven and bake until set; approximately 40 to 50 minutes.
Remove from the oven; allow to completely cool; cover with aluminum foil; place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Remove from refrigerator approximately one hour prior to serving.
