Simple Macaroni Salad

Ingredients
For the Salad:
1-pound elbow macaroni pasta
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup red onion, diced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
For the Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup distilled vinegar
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp. sweet pickle relish
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Instructions
Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and rinse with cool water.
Cook the frozen peas according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine pasta, celery, red onion, red bell pepper, peas and cheese.
In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Pour the dressing into the large bowl and stir to coat evenly.
Keep the salad covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
Macaroni Salad Recipe can be made up to a day ahead of time; keep refrigerated and stir just before serving.
