In a large pot of boiling water, blanch the green beans for 4 – 5 minutes, no longer.
While green beans are blanching, use a large bowl or pot, place an inch of ice cubes in bottom and then pour in enough water to cover the ice and accommodate the green beans.
Once the green beans have reached their 4 -5 minutes of cooking, drain and immediately throw them in the ice bath.
Once cooled, drain the beans again.
In a large Ziploc bag, place all ingredients, zip tightly and shake around until the green beans are completely covered.
Let cool in the refrigerator for at least an hour, toss again, return to refrigerator for an additional hour, or longer.
Just prior to serving cold, toss again.
