Jalapeno Poppers
Ingredients
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 package cream cheese
- 3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
- Chop the jalapeños into small slices.
- Clean out the seeds.
- Fry the bacon; drain on paper towels and crumble into pieces.
- Or you can cut it up first into small pieces about 1 – 2 inches in length then fry it.
- Roll out the dough.
- Take one of the crescent rolls and layer a dollop of cream cheese, a piece or two of jalapeño, and bacon.
- Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point; place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Brush with melted butter and bake 14 – 18 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
You can also cut your crescent rolls in half which will give you 16 smaller poppers.
