Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 3 fresh jalapenos, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
  • Chop the jalapeños into small slices.
  • Clean out the seeds.
  • Fry the bacon; drain on paper towels and crumble into pieces.
  • Or you can cut it up first into small pieces about 1 – 2 inches in length then fry it.
  • Roll out the dough.
  • Take one of the crescent rolls and layer a dollop of cream cheese, a piece or two of jalapeño, and bacon.
  • Roll up, starting at shortest side of triangle and rolling to opposite point; place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Brush with melted butter and bake 14 – 18 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

You can also cut your crescent rolls in half which will give you 16 smaller poppers.
