Nan Laing’s Cobbler
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 21-ounce can pie filling, fruit of choice, use juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Vanilla ice cream, optional
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
- Use butter stick to grease pan; cut up remainder of stick and spread around the bottom of the baking dish.
- Pour in the fruit.
- In a small bowl, add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Spread over fruit.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is a golden brown.
- Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
